Regarding educational scores, the CRS area of EE is influenced in three areas. We could explain the Core Human Capital Factors and Skill Transferability easily. If an individual has graduated from an institution recognized as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) (regardless of whether it is private or public), they can obtain educational scores in both areas.
To simplify, if an individual graduates from a school that can issue a study permit, they can expect additional scores in both the Core Human Capital Factor and Skill Transferability Factor of the EE immigration score.
Lastly, to obtain additional scores from the Additional Factors, one must graduate from a private college operated under specific conditions similar to public schools or public schools themselves.
To put it simply, graduating from a school that issues a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) leads to additional educational scores. In this case, for a 1-2 year college, one can obtain 15 points, and for a 3-year or longer college, 30 points of additional score can be obtained.
Even if one cannot obtain the additional 15 or 30 points from the additional factors, if they graduate from a private college with relatively affordable tuition and easy admission requirements, they can expect corresponding additional points from a core human capital and skill transferability factor in the EE. While the EE cut-off score continues to rise, the news that graduating from a private school also has a positive impact on EE CRS scores is undoubtedly another piece of good news.
While calculating CRS scores may seem easy, it often leads to confusion upon closer examination. To proceed with permanent residency as safely as possible, it is advisable to find a trustworthy immigration company and consult with them.
Especially recently, IRCC has adopted a very thorough approach to verifying “illegal immigration companies.” Please be more cautious when finding immigration companies.
