According to Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, the fees for permanent resident applications are increasing every two years.

There was an announcement regarding the fee increase!

The permanent residence fees will increase at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern daylight time on April 30, 2024, by the cumulative percentage increase to the Consumer Price Index for Canada, published by Statistics Canada, for the two previous years, rounded to the nearest five dollars.

✅Major Program Fee Increases Notice

  1. Right of Permanent Residence Fee: The fee for principal applicants will increase by $60 compared to the previous rate.

🛎️ Current: CAD $515 -> New: CAD $575

  • Federal Skilled Workers, Provincial Nominee Program, Quebec Skilled Workers, Atlantic Immigration Class, and most economic pilots: The fee for principal applicants will increase by $100 compared to the previous rate.

🛎️ Current: CAD $850 -> New: CAD $950
