The emphasis on category-based selection according to job roles is gradually increasing these days! Category-based selection operates in a manner where individuals with experience in specific job roles or with French linguistic abilities are prioritized.
If you fall under the category-based selection criteria, you have a better chance of acquiring permanent residency than through the EE program (CEC, FSW, FST).

[1] Event Target Audience
Basically, you must meet the eligibility requirements for EE (FSW, CEC, or FST) qualifications.
✅ French Proficiency: Eaxam result of French Language Test is Minimum NCLC 7 in each category
By the way, IRCC accepts TEF Canada (Test d’evaluation de francais) or TCF Canada (Test de connaissance du francais).
Or,
✅ Individuals with over 6 months of experience in the following 5 job categories within the past 3 years *Experience within Canada or abroad is recognized
- Healthcare occupations
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) occupations
- Trade occupations (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, etc.)
- Transport occupations
- Agriculture and agri-food occupations
