The Certificate of Qualification is a certification that can earn you additional points when applying for Express Entry. To be awarded skill transferability factor CRS points for a certificate of qualification in a trade occupation, the certificate must be issued by the body that governs trades in a province or territory. ✅ With good/strong official languages proficiency and a certificate of qualification, you can have the additional points.
- If you have a CLB 5-6 score: You can earn an up to additional 25 CRS points.
- If you have a CLB 7 or higher score: You can earn an up to additional 50 CRS points.
Obtaining a certificate of qualification is already challenging, and having an English score of CLB 7 or higher to earn 50 points makes it even more challenging.
