✅ Useful Tips to Avoid Immigration and Study Abroad Scams

Hello, it’s the one and only consulting, GS Consulting! ❤️

During our consultations, we often meet victimized people from immigration consulting companies. This is truly heartbreaking, but unfortunately, it is not easy to find words we can comfort them after the incident happened. 😭

Yesterday, IRCC provided an update concerning the reports of international student fraud.

Recent press reports have revealed that approximately 700 Indian international students in Canada are at risk of deportation. The Canadian government discovered that the Letters of Admission (LOAs) used for their entry were forged.

However, fortunately, it seems that the students who were unaware of the fraud and had genuine intentions to study won’t face deportation. 👀

Nevertheless, it would still be difficult to heal from the lost money and the emotional pain.

I’d like to share with you how to prevent such a scams in advance, in order to avoid falling victim to them.👂

  1. Check the RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants) number of the consultant whom you meet.
  1. Draft a contract.
  2. Be careful if you are guaranteed 100% success.
  3. Verify the company or the consultant by visiting or searching.

Please, consider these helpful tips and never fall for sweet words and false promises. 🙅‍♀️

It’s wise to carefully choose an immigration & education consulting agency.
