Let’s check the eligible occupations for selection categories for EE Candidates

Hello, it’s the one and only consulting, GS Consulting! ❣️

Previously, I informed that IRCC announces new selection categories for Express Entry candidates.

The category-based selection draws prioritize applicants who have work experience in specific occupations or possess specific language abilities.

This year, the category-based selection draws will be conducted by prioritizing applicants,

who have a strong French language proficiency

or work experience in the following fields:

  • healthcare
  • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
  • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
  • transport
  • agriculture and agri-food

there are certain conditions to be met:

  1. The applicant must meet the eligibility requirements for Express Entry (FSW, CEC, or FST).
  2. The applicant must have at least 6 months of continuous work experience in the specified occupations within the past 3 years, either in Canada or abroad.
  3. The applicant’s score must be equal to or above the cut-off score in the specific draw.

Now, let’s see what occupations fall under each category in the content image!
