List of Skilled Trades Stream requirements.
1. Work experience
① at least one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience in Ontario in a skilled trade that is listed in Minor Group 633 or Major Groups 72, 73 or 82 of the NOC
② Work experience must be obtained within the last 2 years from the date of submitting your application to the OINP
③ In one or more of the occupations that you identified in your EE profile
④ In Ontario while maintaining legal status in Canada
2. Valid certificate or license (if applicable)
3. Current residence in Ontario and holding a valid work permit at the time you apply
(You are not required to have a job at the time you apply)
4. Language – CLB 5 or higher
5.Settlement funds
6. Intention to live in Ontario, it is determined by examining your ties to Ontario such as working in Ontario, studying, volunteering, visiting etc.
